Tech Week Remix 38 – CES 2012
Lyrics:
Tech Overload! Out in Las Vegas
with Rev3, covering that CES 2012
the out now’s, the hope mights
the smartphones, 8K
the hype, and the prototypes
Like the samsung dual view tv
one screen, but two shows people can see
with a special pair of glasses you switch the program
so I can watch doctor who and you can play Aquaman
Makerbot moves to be more consumer
with less assembly required than you’re used to
Belkin stepped in with home automation
The WeMo Wi with smartphone operation

via viera connect
Comment and tweet about what’s showing on this new service
Sharp brought the crazy HD display
the insane 85 inch 8k
Resolution so high it’s criminal
at 6 times hd With 32 million pixels
And LG made me a believer in 3D
with their massive array of LCDs
showing off their innovative technology
I’d wear those dumb glasses, it looks fantastic

CDMA & 4G WiMax hacked
with a nasty Man In the Middle attack
custom packets injected in the data stream
forced popups displayed on the user screen

An android tablet to come from amazon
This October, you know the heat is on
To be about 9 inches with no camera
Without that i hope they undercut the iPad
The UK based music streaming service
Spotify finally hits the US
Rolling out invites beginning on thursday
Free monthly tier, 20 hours of play
Of whatever you want, all the majors on board
for $10, go mobile and you lose ad support
And there’s a $5 plan, where you don’t have ads,
But you don’t get access with mobile apps
In apple news, New MacBook airs are coming
word on the street is later next week
And Reuters reports
TSMC becomes a vendor
for Apple Arm Chips, weening off of Samsung
Probably for all the drama that their legal team brung
Not to mention that their mobile hardware rocks
Tech Week Remix 31 – Netflix Price Increase
yesterday, Netflix lost some fans
splitting up their streaming and DVD plans
Instead of 10 for both, now it’s 8 for each
so to keep them both would mean a $4 increase
And at 8, it’s still just one DVD at a time
the streaming service is getting better overtime
but, it ain’t that nice to start forcing a shift
when a lot of what I want to stream, I still can’t get
starts now for new members, 9/1 for old
now come on Netflix, don’t be so cold
We’ll be right back…
It’s been nearly a year since my starting to release songs on a weekly basis, beginning with “Think Geek”. I’m taking a short break, gearing up for a new album and a move to the San Francisco Bay Area. Thank you for listening and vibing with me. I’ll be back with more tech news hotness in April:)
